The top is decorated with sea life. Coral ,shells and underwater mysterious shapes. Beautiful paintwork capturing great depth and mood. The painting was applied to paper which is then adhered to the tabletop. Then more layers of colour and lacquer are applied again to create a surface which has an interesting texture to it. The panelled apron and legs are also decorated in gilt hand painted. Resting on 4 legs ,the rear pair are set back from the edge of the apron.
