A C9th pair of marble(onyx) plinths with tapering sides and flat back, raised on a square plinth with gilt bronze collar with acanthus leaf motive decoration .the front surface decorated with a garland of ribbons,foliage and musical instruments . The frieze above also decorated with 2 spiral flutes filled with flowers,ribbons and foliage,with a repeat motive of leaf decoration top and bottom on the 3 sides.
