An early Eighteenth Century Spanish walnut Vargueno with original polychrome decoration and bone inlay. Highly decorated walnut cabinet resting on bun feet raised on a walnut stand of typical form with turned end supports united by a shapely iron stretcher on bun feet also.The vargueno consists of 9 drawers. The central door with swan neck pediment and classical mouldings, interior revealing a pair of drawers. Lockable central door with key.still retaining all original ironwork.
Decoration of each drawer has very good polychrome ,relief bone barbers shop pole columns decorated with flowers and foliage in a quatrefoil style to the centre of each drawer and keyhole Guilloch mouldings on the front surface
