A pair of very good C18 th Irish walnut side chairs of great colour and patina,the top rail is shaped and carved with a central shell and acanthus detail and at either end a flower head rosette and more acanthus leaf decoration. With a very strong urn shaped solid back splat,the drop in seat sits in a shaped frame with rounded edge , standing on carved cabriole legs with a more carved acanth decoration and small ears,terminating in ball and claw feet at the front and pad feet to the rear.
