C18 th Giltwood Italian corner console table with serpentine front and a marble top. An unusually rare console fitting beautifully into a corner to give you all the richness and glamour using up less space. The base is boldly carved with scrolls and leaves , with flower rose heads on the knees of the legs. The bracket connecting the 2 legs also heavily carved with scrolls and a rosette in the middle. Very good warm water gilding with wear in places but structure all solid. A generously thick marble top with a simple mould with rounded pencil edge and cut in the serpentine curve.
