A rare Geo ll mahogany Pepys style bookcase with with a very restrained dry look. Square glazed panels on the front 2 doors and fielded panels on the bottom of both doors. Open the 2 doors and you find wonderful interior of Angus table shelves and 4 large drawers, 2 drawers on either side. Completely original, resting on bracket feet. The totally original design build of the bookcase was to be built in 2 sections. With the doors off the top lifts up out of the slots it sits in . This does mean that the logistics of moving a piece of this size up to first and second floors is possible.
